Pokemon Silver is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color handheld console in 1999. It is the second installment in the Pokemon series of games and is set in the fictional Johto region.
In Pokemon Silver, players take on the role of a young trainer who embarks on a journey to become the champion of the Pokemon League. Along the way, players catch and train various Pokemon creatures, battle other trainers, and foil the plans of a criminal organization called Team Rocket.
One of the unique features of Pokemon Silver is its real-time clock system, which allows for changes in the game’s environment and events to occur based on the time of day and day of the week. The game also introduced new Pokemon species, including the fan-favorite Eevee evolutions, Espeon and Umbreon.
